Kelvin Shultz, RPA

As president of Wheatland Accounting Kelvin works in all areas of the business.  He specializes in taxation, farm business analysis, corporate and tax planning.

Until recently Kelvin operated a grain farm near his hometown of Osage with his wife Elaine and family.  His firsthand experience with farming as well as a lengthy career in accounting enables him to quickly develop an understanding of each agricultural operation.

After obtaining a diploma in Agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan, Kelvin worked for several years with Saskatchewan Agriculture and Agriculture Canada in the farm accounting area.

Kelvin founded Wheatland Accounting in 1981 and added to his formal education a few years later by earning his RPA credentials (Registerd public Accountant).

Kathy Nicholas

She is involved in bookkeeping, GST, NISA, tax preparation and payroll.  Kathy is also Wheatland's Certified Settler Software Consultant.

Kathy is responsible for collecting data from several dairy farms throughout the province for purpose of the cost of production study administered by the Canadian Dairy Commission.

She is currently a member of the review committee for the Canadian Farm Income Program. The board meets on a monthly basis to review producer applications that have been appealed and to make recommendation to the Canadian Farm Income Program as to whether the guidelines of the program have been followed.

Kathy’s understanding of agriculture together with her accounting and taxation knowledge and approachable manner combine to make a valued contribution to our team.

Margaret Loos

Margaret is our office receptionist who keeps the office running smoothly.

Our clients appreciate her friendly, helpful manner which contribute to making each visit or phone call to Wheatland Accounting a pleasant experience.

Margaret is also involved in bookkeeping, GST & checking and compiling tax returns.

We appreciate her dedication together with her pleasant and efficient manner.

Vickie Procyk

Her keen interest in accounting and her active involvement in agricultural, make Vickie an asset to our team. She works  in bookkeeping, GST, financial statement preparation and income tax preparation.

Shannon Leas

Shannon began her employment with Wheatland Accounting in January of 2003. She and her husband Gerald operate a livestock farm just out of Fillmore.

Shannon came to us after several years at the Weyburn Livestock Exchange as the office manager, and understands accounting and computer data entry.

Shannon will be working in the area of taxation, bookkeeping, GST and T4 filing.
